A week later, the media was still in an uproar over Nina and Sid’s relationship, but she refused to address anything with them. Rose had been handling them perfectly, but then they upped their attempts to get to her. The media could be like a rabid wolf pack going after a story. Tank had to up the additional security since tons of paparazzi began showing up at her house. Now she couldn’t drive herself to the club to meet Sid, so they agreed to move her workouts to her property, being the most secured place. The media would be closed off to her by the closed fence that surrounded her property.

“Go harder,” Sid called out as she did her suicide drills. He wanted her to get more cardio in and had set up circuits in the back yard for her. She loved being outside working out. She pushed herself as she ran toward the target and touched the ground before running back to Sid. This was her last run and her legs were burning. They had been outside for a couple of hours, taking advantage of the beautiful weather.

She finally made it to him and slowed down to a walk, her breaths coming fast. Sweat dripped down her face as she tried to catch her breath.

“Good job, babe,” he said as she moved to him. He wrapped her up in his arms in a tight hug.

“Ew, I’m sweaty.” She laughed, trying to pull back from him.

“I’m not afraid of a little sweat.” He gently slapped her round bottom. She knew her ass was one of his favorite features, aside from her breasts. She twisted away from him playfully, swinging her hips as she walked away.

A little sweat? It coated her entire body. Her arms literally glistened from it. He had worked her hard today, but unfortunately, not in a sexual way.

“You’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio,” he noted as he walked alongside of her. She reached down and grabbed her water bottle in passing as they walked, gulping down a healthy swig of the ice-cold water.

“Yeah, I’ve been working on an independent project.” She briefly explained her plan, but left out that the album was a musical documentary of what she went through with Luke, including her meeting him. That part would remain a secret.

Today, she had another producer friend coming into town. The songs she did with Scott were complete, but she wanted to bring in another good friend to include on the project. She was always amazed at how many people would drop whatever they were doing to come and work with her. Of course, she compensated them well for it out of her own money. Since this album would not be on her record label, she had to pick up the cost for everything.

“Sounds awesome,” he said as they came to a natural pond on her land. It was one of her favorite spots on her property. She’d had benches built around it so that she could come out and be one with nature.
